Bomb Scare

There's a bomb scare at the Washington Mutual Bank diagonal to my office building. The whole intersection of 5th & Union is completely closed.

From the PI: A Seattle police bomb squad was called to the Washington Mutual bank branch at Fifth Avenue and Union Street after the 3:30 p.m. robbery. Police appeared to be reopening streets at 5:30 p.m. after the bag was determined to be safe, police spokesman Mark Jamieson said.The robber demanded money from the teller and said he had a bomb in his bag.

I was smoking a cigarette across the street when it happened. It didn't notice anything.

It's stuff like this that reminds I'm not in South Carolina anymore.
